About this personal trainer invoice template
Personal trainers usually sell blocks of sessions or a monthly package. A tidy invoice or receipt shows the client what they bought and when it starts and ends.
What to put on a personal trainer invoice
- Say how many sessions are included and any expiry date on the block.
- Set out the cancellation and rescheduling rules on the invoice.
- List any extras such as a nutrition plan or online support on their own lines.
- Send a receipt when payment arrives. Clients often need one for their records.

Questions people ask
Should I bill by session or by month?
Blocks of sessions paid upfront are common and help commitment. Monthly packages are easier to manage. State which you use.
What should I do about missed sessions?
Set the rule in advance and put it on the invoice, such as one reschedule with 24 hours notice, otherwise the session is counted.
Is anything I type sent to a server?
No. The document is made inside your browser. Your business details and the last document are remembered on this device only, so you do not have to retype them, and you can wipe them with the link under the preview.
