What this does
Write down who paid, what for, how much and when. The receipt is marked as paid in full. No account and no watermark.
How to use it
- Add your business details once. They are remembered on this device.
- Fill in who paid and the date.
- Add the items or services that were paid for.
- Note the payment method in the payment box if you like.
- Save it as a PDF or Word file, or print it.
Save it in the format you need
When you are done, choose how to keep it:
- PDF — ready to email or print.
- Word (.docx) — opens in Word, Google Docs and Pages, if you want to change it further.
- Excel (.xlsx) — opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers, with the totals as working formulas.
- CSV — the line items, for any spreadsheet or accounting program.
- Web page (.html) — a single file you can open in any browser.
- Plain text — or Copy as text, to paste into an email.
- Save to reopen later — a small file that brings the whole document back next time.
- Print — choose Save as PDF in the print box to keep any language or alphabet.
Questions people ask
What should a receipt include?
Who paid and who was paid, the date, what the payment was for, the amount, and how it was paid. A receipt number helps you keep records.
What is the difference between a receipt and an invoice?
An invoice asks for money. A receipt confirms money has been paid.
Can I show tax on a receipt?
Yes. Add the tax name and rate, and it is worked out and shown.
Is anything I type sent to a server?
No. The document is made inside your browser. Your business details and the last document are remembered on this device only, so you do not have to retype them, and you can wipe them with the link under the preview.
