About this plumbing invoice template
Plumbing invoices normally combine a call-out charge, labour and parts. Itemising each part shows the customer exactly what the job cost, and helps if an insurer or landlord needs to see it.
What to put on a plumbing invoice
- Split call-out, labour and parts. Customers accept prices more readily when they see the breakdown.
- Describe the work done and the address it was done at.
- List parts by name where you can, and add your mark-up if you charge one.
- If a job was quoted, quote the same total on the invoice, or explain any difference.

Should I charge a call-out fee?
Many plumbers do. If you do, say so on the quote and list it as its own line on the invoice.
