About this translation invoice template
Translators are usually paid per word, or per document. The invoice should state the languages, the word count and the rate, since clients often check these against their own count.
What to put on a translation invoice
- State the language pair and the word count.
- Show the per-word rate, and how you counted the words.
- Price proofreading, formatting and rush fees as their own lines.
- Name the document or project reference.
